Tropical and other minor map updates
July 23rd, 2010I have made several changes to the tropical page (have a some storms to test with). I have also added the option to view with either ntweather or stormpulse, just click the source you would like in the header. I have made some updates to the maps and surface charts. Any questions or comments, just let me know.
NEW CONVECTIVE MAPS
March 24th, 2010I have added new convective parameters from the NWS in Ft.Worth. They show many of the parameters looked at for the potential of severe weather. They are just for the FTW CWA so kind of limited to us here in North Texas, but a very cool tool to use.

Updated radar...
March 20th, 2010I have made some minor changes to the radar page. I have added the clickable map to bring up a large 1024x893 px radar animation of the selected site. It will open in a popup window that you can close when your done viewing and you will remain on the site. I have also cleaned up some minor bugs in the warning and how they display in the windows. Thanks and enjoy the snow....really snow....Texas Rocks!!!

That about does it.....
March 14th, 2010Well short of little bug fixes the new site is pretty much done. I still have to add the large number of links I have back in, but that is still a little down the road. I have reworked much of the html to be faster and more streamlined. I have most pages all styled the same. I have added new weather maps with links to the SPC and Plymouth Weather Center where you can create just about any type of map you can think of. I have also added a link to Plymouth's Radar site where you have access to all Nexrads and Tdwr sites with all of the products that the NWS has for both types of radars.
If you have any questions, suggestions, links, or bugs please leave me a post here and I will see what I can do to help. Also if you have a few dollars to contribute to help me with this site please click the PAYPAL link on the main page, any help would be wonderful.

slight change in layout...
March 10th, 2010I have made a slight change in the layout of the site in order to add more content for severe weather in the next few weeks. I have done away with the North Texas, Texas, U.S. and changed to Radar, Satellite and Maps. I am very happy with the new flow, hope you are too. In the radar section you now have access to every radar site with many new products offered by the NWS. Just click the NWS radar sites link and check it out. As always please feel free to leave any feedback you would like including suggestions, bugs or anything else not working. If you have any suggested new links please just post them here.

Many fixes...new local weather
March 7th, 2010The new tab on the main screen for local weather is running. It will take you to local conditions and forecasts for anywhere you want, it will default to Dallas, but you can use any place in the US that you would like. I have fixed so some small bugs they are to many to list. I have increased the size of all satellite maps in the N.Texas, Texas, and US. sections. In the US section, there is a new clickable map of the US to view any NWS radar site. I hope you enjoy the new changes, on the way will be getting may of my links back that I had to remove and check. I am also redoing the home page to use hamweather for the conditions and forecast. There are also some new weather icons on the way. Thanks as always for using ntweather.net and if you are able to donate a little bit to help me with this site please click the paypal link.
